On Friday, March 20, we will be visited by Karin Hårding, professor of ecology at the University of Gothenburg.
Karin works with population biology of marine mammal populations and studies their sensitivity to environmental factors such as diseases, climate change and hunting.
Karin's research group uses drones, image analysis and genomics to study the population. Genomics is the study of the genome, that is, an organism's full set of DNA, which includes both genes and so-called non-coding DNA.
The seminar will be in Swedish.
